Steve began his aviation career in 1989 by serving as a primary, advanced, and instrument flight instructor for Kent State University’s flight program.
After graduating with a B.S. degree in Aerospace Flight Technology, Steve obtained employment with Commercial Aviation Insurance (COMAV), as an aviation underwriter, in their Chicago, IL office.
Upon COMAV’s closing their Chicago office in 1994, Steve came to Wings Insurance Agency. His current responsibilities include overall agency management and large account production. He is also the primary administrator of Wings LAN computer network.
Steve firmly believes in recurrent training, not only as a pilot but also as an aviation broker. He attends numerous insurance courses throughout the year. He is also an active participant of the FAA Pilot Proficiency “Wings” program. He continues to be an active pilot & flight instructor, possessing a Commercial and Certified Flight Instructor license with single & multi engine land, and instrument ratings. He has logged over 1200 hours of flight time, and currently operates a Mooney M20S Eagle aircraft.
Steve enjoys spending time with his wife Jackie and three sons. His interests include riding his motorcycle, fishing and woodworking.
